Toy Story the Musical makes a splash aboard the Disney Wonder

WDBO’s Diana Bosch takes a look at Toy Story, the Musical in Port Canaveral aboard the Disney Wonder cruise ship.Director John Lasseter says the movie was an obvious choice to be transformed into a musical.”It is the first animated movie to be nominated for an Oscar for “Best Screenplay,” we thought to ourselves how could we bring this story to life onstage.”And bring it to life they did, Toy Story makes the leap from hit movie to a Broadway-style show complete with puppets, special effects and seven brand new songs that will keep the crowd singing along.Coming this summer, Toy Story Mania, a 3-D ride is expected to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the third installment of the movie franchise is expected to hit theaters in June 2010.
